邻水县，古称邻州，位于四川省东部、重庆市北部、川东北经济区南端，幅员面积1907平方公里，45%的边界线与重庆接壤，总人口100万，是四川省距离重庆主城区及最近的县，处于长江经济带上游重要节点、川渝合作最前沿。
Linshui County, known as Linzhou in ancient times, is located in the eastern part of Sichuan Province, to theLinzhounorth of Chongqing City, and in the southern end of the Northeastern Sichuan Economic Zone. It covers an area of 1,907 square kilometers, and shares 45% of its border with Chongqing. Linshui County has a population of one million. It is a county of Sichuan that is closest to Chongqing, serving as an important node in the upper reaches of the Yangtze River Economic Belt and the forefront of Sichuan-Chongqing cooperation.
历史悠久，文化深厚。梁大同三年置县，迄今1485年历史，孕育了宣示西沙群岛主权的广东水师提督李准、跟随毛泽东上井冈山参加革命的游雪程、小说《红岩》主要人物许云峰原型许建业、马列思想大家熊复等一大批忠烈爱国之士，让水文化、手掌木偶戏闻名川渝，是全国文化先进县。
Time-honored History and Culture. Linshui was designated as a county in the third year of the Datong period of the Liang Dynasty 1,485 years ago. It gave birth to Li Zhun, Admiral of the Guangdong Navy who claimed sovereignty over the Xisha Islands, You Xuecheng, who joined the revolution led by Mao Zedong on the Jinggangshan Mountain, Xu Jianye, prototype of the main character ofHongyan Xu Yunfeng, and the great Marxist and Leninist Xiong Fu. Linshui's Rangshui culture and palm puppet show are famous in Sichuan and Chongqing. It is a county of advanced culture in China.
产业兴盛，经济活跃。2021年规上工业企业138户，总产值376.3亿元，是全国新型工业化产业示范基地、全省工业强县示范县；盛产优质脐橙、粮油、生猪、蔬菜等特色农畜产品，是全国农产品质量安全县、国家供应链创新与应用示范基地、全省服务业强县、全省“三农”工作先进县，邻水脐橙获全国驰名商标、国家地理标志、全国柑橘30强。
Thriving Industries and a Vibrant Economy. In 2021, Linshui County had 138 industrial enterprises above the state designated size, which generated RMB 37.63 billion in total output. Linshui is a national new industrialization demonstration base and a provincial "industry-powered" demonstration county. The county produces huge amounts of high-quality navel oranges, cereals and vegetable oils, live pigs, vegetable and other characteristic agricultural and livestock products. It is named China County of Agricultural Product Safety, National Demonstration Base for Supply Chain Innovation and Application, County of Excellent Services in Sichuan, and County Excelling in Work Relating to Agriculture, Rural Areas, and Rural Residents. Linshui navel oranges are rated as a national well-known trademark, a national protected geographic indication, and one of the top 30 citrus in China.
区位独特，交通便捷。地处川东门户，紧邻重庆万亿级经济体，县城距重庆江北机场70公里、主城区90公里，是四川距重庆主城区最近的县（市、区），属重庆一小时经济圈。包茂高速和沪蓉高速呈“十”字形交汇于县城南郊，是“四好农村路”全国示范县。
Unique Location, Convenient Transportation. Linshui is the gateway of eastern Sichuan, adjacent to Chongqing's trillion-dollar economy. The county seat is 70 kilometers away from Chongqing Jiangbei Airport and 90 kilometers away from the Chongqing metropolitan areas. Within the Chongqing 1-Hour Economic Circle, it is a county of Sichuan with the shortest distance to metropolitan Chongqing. The Baotou-Maoming Expressway and the Shanghai-Chengdu Expressway intersect in the southern suburb of the county seat, forming a "cross". Linshui is a national "Excellent Rural Roads" demonstration county.
这里生态优美，宜居宜游。境内华蓥山、铜锣山、明月山呈“川”字型平行展布，大洪河、御临河蜿蜒其间，形成“三山两槽”独特地貌，有华蓥山大峡谷、御临河小三峡等风景名胜，天意谷、五华山AAAA级景区2个，国控出川断面水质稳定达到地表水Ⅲ类标准、空气质量优良率92.1%。
A Livable Eco-environment. The Huaying Mountain, Tongluo Mountain and Mingyue Mountain in Linshui County run parallel to each other, and the Dahong River and the Yulin River meander between them, forming a unique landform. Linshui boasts the Huaying Mountain Grand Canyon and the Yulin River Version of the Three Gorges and the two AAAA-rated scenic spots of Tianyi Valley and Wuhua Mountain. The quality of the water in the state-controlled Sichuan-departing section reaches the standard for Class-III surface water, and the air quality rate reaches 92.1%.
当前，邻水按照“战略前沿、改革前沿、发展前沿”定位，认真贯彻落实广安市委关于实施“同城融圈、优镇兴乡、品质主导、产业支撑”四大战略的部署要求，聚焦项目攻坚年，实施同城融圈交通三年大会战，畅通路网结构；深化产业协作，建设工业强县；做优农业，因地制宜推进乡村振兴；同时致力公园城市建设，推进城市功能完善和品质提升，发展之路越走越宽。
Linshui positions itself as a "strategic, reform, and development forefront". It actively responds to the call of the CPC Guang'an Municipal Committee for "integrated urban development, rural revitalization, quality improvement and industrial support", works to tackle project difficulties, goes into the three-year battle against transportation barriers, and smooths road networks. Linshui deepens industrial cooperation to empower itself, optimizes agriculture, and presses ahead with rural revitalization on a case-by-case basis. At the same time, Linshui works to transform itself into a garden city and upgrades urban functions and quality to achieve broad-ranging development.
