2023年到来之际，联合国驻华协调员常启德发表新年致辞，总结联合国驻华系统2022年工作，送上新年祝福。

辞旧迎新

2022年是人类取得诸多胜利的一年，也是酿成众多悲剧的一年。

2022 was a year of many triumphs and tragedies for humanity.

的确，世界面临着种种挑战，包括气候危机、冲突、不平等加剧和2019冠状病毒病疫情。

Indeed, the world has faced many challenges, including the climate emergency, conflicts, rising inequalities, and the COVID-19 pandemic.

随着中国2019冠状病毒病形势持续变化，联合国驻华大家庭向所有受到影响的人们致以最美好的祝愿，希望大家早日康复。

As the COVID-19 situation in China continues to evolve, the United Nations family in China expresses our very best wishes and hope for a speedy recovery to all who have been impacted.

2023年的脚步临近，我们也应继续怀揣希望，尽管正处在疫情的漫漫长冬之中，但冬天终会过去。

With 2023 approaching, we should also hold onto hope that while we are in the middle of the long winter of the pandemic, this too shall pass.

回首旧岁

过去一年，联合国驻华系统为推动落实《联合国对华可持续发展合作框架》做了大量工作，以支持东道国国家发展优先事项，实现可持续发展目标。

Over the past year, much has been accomplished by the United Nations in China to advance the implementation of our Cooperation Framework, in support of our Host Country’s national development priorities, and the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

我们衷心感谢中国政府一路携手同行，积极合作，期待着来年继续深化联合国与中国间的伙伴关系。

We extend our sincere thanks to the Government of China for this positive record of cooperation, as we look forward to deepening the UN-China partnership in the coming year.

I also take this opportunity to express my deepest gratitude to all UN staff in China. They are a group of consummate professionals fully committed to China’s development and progress, and they work tirelessly every day to uphold the values of the United Nations.

正如联合国秘书长古特雷斯在提出《我们的共同议程》时所说：“我们正处于历史转折的紧要关头。2019冠状病毒病疫情敲响了警钟，随着气候危机日益迫近，世界正在遭遇二战以来最大的共同考验。”

As the United Nations Secretary-General, Mr. António Guterres has stated when putting forward his Common Agenda, “We are at an inflection point in history. The COVID-19 pandemic has served as a wake-up call and with the climate crisis now looming, the world is experiencing its biggest shared test since the Second World War.”

2023年，让我们一起下定决心，为了人类和地球，全球团结一致，齐心协力，实现复苏，让可持续发展目标重回正轨。

In 2023, let us all resolve to come together in global solidarity to recover and get the SDGs back on track, for people and planet.

我谨代表联合国驻华大家庭，祝福您和所爱之人新年快乐！
