On November 3, 2023, the meeting on publicity work for the Global Digital Economy Conference 2024 (hereinafter referred to as the “Conference”) was held to deliberate on the specific methods and strategies to publicize the 2024 Conference. The meeting was attended by You Jing, director of the Department of Information Technology and Software Service under Beijing Municipal Bureau of Economy and Information Technology, and Wu Wei, vice head of the department’s General Office.

Based on the situation faced by the publicity work for the 2024 Conference and relevant strategies, the media representatives exchanged ideas on promoting international communication and enhancing global influence of the event. The media outlets expressed that they would mobilize all available resources and make good use of their advantageous communication channels and platforms to boost the publicity of the 2024 Conference.
The meeting clarified that the 2024 Conference would further increase its international publicity and influence, and broaden its global reach through organizing international press conferences and overseas sub-events.
