In order to accelerate the construction of a global digital economy benchmark city and establish a "Beijing model" for the development of the digital economy in China and around the world, the 2024 Beijing Digital Economy Experience Week & Digital Consumption Festival (hereinafter referred to as the "Experience Week") will be open soon. During the event, eight digital economy experience routes under the theme of "A Joyful Tour of Digital Beijing", focusing on digital technology, digital industry and digital life, will be unveiled to demonstrate the achievements of Beijing's digital economy development and promote the digital economy to further integrate with consumption and empower people’s livelihoods, thus achieving a better life. The design of the routes follows the new model of "scene openness + in-depth research", making them "observable, sensible, learnable, and interactive", so that the general public can gain a glimpse of the achievements of Beijing's digital economy development, understand the layout of cutting-edge high-tech industries, explore the infinite possibilities of the digital economy, and experience the beautiful life brought by scientific and technological advancements.

The eight digital economy experience routes cover the core areas of the digital economy such as the metaverse, digital human, BeiDou navigation and satellite remote sensing, smart travel, industrial internet, digital visual intelligence, digital and intelligent manufacturing, artificial intelligence, etc., involving nearly 30 experience scenarios. Visitors can either experience the whole process along the routes or just choose to experience the sections in which they are interested.

Route 1: Transcending virtuality and reality – exploring the metaverse

Shougang Park Metaverse Digital Innovation Experience Complex – No. 1 Blast Furnace SO•REAL Science Fiction Park – Migu Digital Intelligence Competition Science and Technology Center – Re International Center for Digital Creativity

Highlights: Shougang Park, a century-old industrial heritage, gathers a number of high-quality consumer content and well-known IPs of the metaverse, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in the world of "cyberpunk".

Route 2: Hi, my digital friend – a visit to the digital human base

Beijing Digital Human Base – Internet 3.0 Industrial Park

Highlights: It allows visitors to have a glimpse of the digital human technology and its application as well as the building of the Internet 3.0 industry ecosystem.

Route 3: Chasing dreams of exploring the starry sky – decoding BeiDou navigation and satellite remote sensing

UniStrong BeiDou Satellite Navigation Application Museum – PIESAT

Highlights: It allows visitors to understand the development process of BeiDou navigation satellite system and the latest achievements of BeiDou navigation satellite technology, visit the multi-person collaborative mixed reality digital sand table system, and experience how the 3D modeling method restores the city, factories, traffic and other scenes and environments.

Route 4: Smart vehicles – experiencing intelligent travel

Pony.ai (Intelligent Connected Vehicle Exhibition Hall + Fully Unmanned Autonomous Vehicle Test Ride) – High-level Autonomous Driving Demonstration Zone (Exhibition Hall + Test Ride)

Highlights: In the world's first vehicle-road-cloud integrated high-level autonomous driving demonstration area, visitors can learn about the Chinese solutions for autonomous driving and enjoy a test ride of the L4 autonomous driving vehicle featuring "no driver in the car and remote control outside the car".

Route 5: Network of industries – experience the industrial internet

Industrial Internet Digital Transformation Promotion Center – Shunyi Qumei Home Furnishing Factory

Highlights: Visitors can experience the application scenarios of industrial APP and 5G + industrial internet, and gain a glimpse of the industrial internet identification and analysis system, 5G + industrial internet and BitFactory national blockchain applications.

Route 6: A vision of light and shadow – experiencing digital visual intelligence

Starpark XR Studio – Beijing WELINK DaoAI Technology Co., Ltd. – Artron Digital Experience Hall – Tongzhou Network Audio-Visual Industrial Park – Beijing Black Oil Digital Exhibition Co., Ltd. – Tongzhou Metaverse Application Innovation Center

Highlights: Visitors can learn about the innovative achievements in the field of digital visual intelligence such as AGV-guided image grasping and 3D disordered grasping laboratory, experience the charm of digital virtual production and AR technology, and gain an in-depth understanding of the development and application of digital visual intelligence.

Route 7: The beauty of modern industry – a visit to the digital and intelligent industrial park

Beijing UAV Science and Technology Museum – Daxing International Hydrogen Energy Demonstration Zone – Arctic Ocean Intelligent Workshop (the digital marketing platform of Beijing Yiqing) –  HollySys Intelligent Experience Center – Transcend Communication

Highlights: Visitors can gain an in-depth understanding of the low-altitude economy and drone innovation, the overall layout of the hydrogen energy industrial chain, intelligent manufacturing, and green intelligent factories.

Route 8: My AI world – understanding the future trends of AI

Beijing Jizhi Future Artificial Intelligence Industry Innovation Base –  Kuaishou Headquarters Park – Beijing DP Technology Co., Ltd. – Tianchengtonglian Blockchain Application Innovation Laboratory

Highlights: Visitors can gain insight into cutting-edge technologies and industries such as AI, cloud computing, big data, and blockchain, deeply experience AI large models, and learn about the birth of smart AI.
