4月20日,我国将首艘货运飞船天舟一号送入太空,使我国向2022年前后完成在轨空间站建造的目标又迈进了一步。

天舟一号是首艘我国自主研发的货运飞船,也是我国目前为止体积最大、重量最重的航天器。天舟一号飞船全长10.6米,最大直径3.35米,起飞质量约13吨,物资运输能力约6.5吨。由于它只运货,不送人,所以被形象地称为太空“快递小哥”。

4 月23日,天舟一号与天宫二号顺利完成自动交会对接。这是我国自主研制的货运飞船与空间实验室的首次交会对接。

空间实验室任务的顺利实施,标志着中国正稳步迈向“空间站时代”。

In today’s program, we will talk about ”Tianzhou-1”.

China has taken another step toward its goal of putting a space station into orbit around 2022, by sending its first cargo spacecraft Tianzhou-1 into space on April 20.

Tianzhou-1 is the first cargo spacecraft independently developed by China, and it is also China’s largest and heaviest spacecraft until now.

Tianzhou-1 is 10.6 meters long and has a diameter of 3.35 meters. Its maximum takeoff weight is 13.5 metric tons, enabling it to carry up to 6.5 tons of supplies. Tianzhou-1 is called “space courier” for its freight-only function.

The Tianzhou-1 docked with the country's Tiangong II space laboratory on April 23, which was the first docking between cargo spacecraft independently developed and space laboratory in China.

The smooth implementation of space laboratory task marks that China is marching toward “The Era of Space Station”.
